My first visit to Moda mall and I was excited.

I moved my gaze up and looked at the structure with its fans. The summer sun reflected its rays. Without sunglasses I was temporarily blinded but stepped into the foyer and banged on the door. Maybe the sensor of the automatic door was not working properly, but it opened after I banged on it. A bunch of guys laughed at me. I felt ashamed.
My little sister rushed in at that moment, held my hand, made me stable; all the while glaring at the guys and then we marched in.

A real life incident which happened some years back. The only fictional part is that it was my hubby who held my hands. I do not have a younger sister and it is always my better half or the son who hold my hands while I keep banging on things or doors π
Written as a part of Writetribe 100 words on Saturday. The prompt this time My little sister.
ohh!! well it’s always nice to have someone hold your hands!
Oh yes. Thank you Naba
I have had cataract in both eyes and surgeries to follow, Bhagya – so I know how difficult it can get around bright lights. So glad you’ve got someone around to look out for you!
I have problem with both bright light and dim light but I am grateful for my two angels who are always with me π
Hey, such a beautiful take on the prompt and the love of one sister protecting her other one. Love it, Bhagyashree:)
Glad about that Vishal π
oh.. bad that those guys laughed, and didn’t think of helping you..
Oh you will always get to see such morons π¦
love it … truly angels come in all forms..and the best are in form of young siblings
True. There is nobody like family. Welcome to SS Shiva
Good
Thank you
You have someone close to hold your hand and lead and that what matters.
Exactly…Thank you Kalpanaji
At times, people can be so idiotic in malls laughing at others’ predicament.
Generally people are like that but then there are helpful souls around too. I usually find kids very helpful maybe it is because they are yet to be tarnished with the worldly ways
People like those youngsters will be there everywhere, who just while away time like this. Good you have got your people to help always.
Yes Sandhyakka. that is what family is for. To hold hands. to lead and to follow π
Aww that was so sweet!
Thank you Aditi π
Aaah… so good to have someone to hold hands and save you from embarrassment. Lucky you. π
π Thank you Jyothi
A husband or wife have to play multiple roles. Isn’t it? Nicely written. π
A job may have a definite role, a spouse does not. it is all roles combined into one π
awww…why would they laugh? dumbos….grr…I have a lil sister, but I am the one to hold hands π
π I have a big sister too and more often that not she has been the punching bag for me. Literally and otherwise too π
Truly an angel…
a sweet and lovely post
Thanks Shelly π
That’s sweet. People can be so unforgiving even at small things like this. Glad you have your two angels around.
I don’t mind really… if they need some excuse to laugh ….so be it π
